The Vegas Painters Guarantee. We guarantee our workmanship for Five (5) years, longer than required by the State of Nevada.
|
As you may know the paint contractor guarantees their workmanship, but not the paint products they use, the products are guaranteed by the paint manufacturer.
Paint Contractor: The paint contractor purchases paint from the paint distributor (middle man) who in turn purchases paint from the manufacturer. It is the responsibility of the paint contractor to apply the paint on a properly prepared surface to provide the best conditions for the paint to adhere to the surface, so it looks great and last for years to come.
This is known as "Workmanship".
Vegas Painters exceeds all State and Federal requirement for our "Workmanship" We guarantee that we professionally prepared the surfaces, by cleaning, sanding, patching, caulking and priming where required before applying the finish paint. This assures long lasting beauty and integrity.
Paint Manufacturer: The paint manufacturer in most cases offers a limited guarantee on the paint they create and formulate. One reason their guarantee has limits is because they do not apply the paint.
Paint Distributor: (See our paint suppliers) The paint distributor I.E. Dunn Edwards, Sherwin Williams, Frazee, ICI, etc, purchases paint from the paint manufacturer and will honor the paint manufacturers limited guaranty.
Contractors Board: The State of Nevada requires all contractors to be licensed. The State Contractors Board is the agency that applies the State Law to contractors, as well as to qualify them before they are licensed with knowledge tests and proof that they are financially sound.
The Law: If the contractors board finds or is made awear of an un-licensed contractor working, they will take legal action against that contractor. If you happen to have hired that contractor, the board will not be in a position to help you if there is an issue with any issue including workmanship.
However, if your contractor is licensed and there is an issue that cannot be worked out with your contractor, the board will investagate and if they find the contractor at fault they will require the contractor to make repairs.
This is why it is very important you only hire licensed contractors, and one that is reputable with a proven history.
